Robert Worstell's tetrads of ideas
Robert Worstell's tetrads of ideas (e.g., Ability as analyzed into “Purpose, Confront, Responsibility and Understanding”. He has several blogs on various subjects. I didn’t grasp the pattern in his tetrads, and possibly he’s not primarily seeking a particularized, family-resemblance kind of pattern in the sense that I do. Anyway, his criteria include: interaction and mutual enhancement of a tetrad's four points; a kind of tetrahedron-like philosophical stability of such tetrad; and productive results following soon upon application in practice. He linked to the version of this post at The Tetrast.
